Almost Lost The Civic Today

I take this road every single day and have been since I could drive. I couldn't have been going more than 25. TCS was even on! Some combination of things just made me loose all traction and do a full 180. Thank God I saved it from getting stuck in the ditch. I will never be taking that turn faster than like 10 again! Scared the shit out of me.

They are the stock really shitty Firestone Low rolling fuel saver tires... But they only have 8500 miles on them...

but like I said what surprised me most is I take this road every day to and from school. I'm in Florida so this wasn't the first time rain has fallen. And I wasn't driving any differently than normal. I don't know what happened this time which was so different than every other time.

Different day, different conditions. Just because it was raining one day doesn't mean the road is uniformly wet the next. Maybe your tires have worn enough for it to be an issue now when it wasn't before.

Just slow down in the rain in general. You never know when you'll hit a slick patch you didn't anticipate

Thanks! All my time playing Forza came to help me after all! I just had quick reflexes and turned my wheel quickly enough to save it from going to that ditch.

Road was just a little more slick towards the passenger side I guess so one tire lost traction and it just went is my guess...

I know the feeling, I nearly mowed down a small herd of deer last night. I'll pull the footage when I get home tonight. Came around a bend and just saw something that wasn't right so I hit the brakes. Make it past the snow bank to see 6 or 8 deer walking across the road.

Certainly close to a code brown moment.

Thank god no car was coming the other way. Honestly, its brave that you even put the video here seeing a lot of people could just shout at you and call you the worst driver to ever walk on this planet.
